Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in cooking
  • Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Ability to maintain professional and courteous demeanor during stressful times
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and equipment
  • Familiarity with food storage and handling standards
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to walk, sit and stand for long periods
  • Holds a state and/or local food handlers card where applicable
  • Must be 18 years of age or older or according to state law
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Able to work various shifts including holidays, nights and weekends
  • Willing to work overtime as required

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in cooking strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry required
  • Ability to maintain professional and courteous demeanor under stress
  • Able to work as part of a team and understand the role of each member
  • Knowledge of proper food preparation techniques and equipment
  • Familiarity with industry standards for food storage and handling is highly desirable
  • Effective problem-solving skills and sound judgment
  • Ability to stand, sit and walk for long periods
  • Holds a state or local food handlers card where applicable
  • Must be 18 years of age or older or according to state law
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Flexible availability for different shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare all grilled, broiled, fried and sautéed items in the kitchen
  • Portion and prepare food items such as tempura items, sauces, and grilled dishes prior to cooking
  • Plate and garnish cooked items for presentation
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen workstation
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to provide excellent guest dining experience
  • Follow food storage and handling standards to ensure safety and quality
  • Exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills during kitchen operations
