Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, carrying up to 25 pounds independently
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- flexible work schedule including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to pass credit and background checks as per state and local laws
- required licenses and certifications as mandated by jurisdiction
Job Qualifications
- Previous sales and customer service experience preferred
- demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- proficiency with MS Office Suite
- familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite is desired
- high level of professionalism in appearance and conduct
- ability to prepare and explain legal documents
- strong interpersonal skills
- positive and can-do attitude
Job Duties
- Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve community revenue and occupancy goals
- greet and qualify prospects
- conduct community and apartment tours including virtual leasing
- process applications and perform credit and criminal background checks
- prepare lease and move-in packages
- ensure smooth resident move-in and lease signing
- inspect apartments prior to move-in for move-in readiness
- coordinate with maintenance team for any outstanding issues
- stay informed about market and competitor conditions
- develop and implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy
- design and execute marketing activities including resident referral and employer outreach programs
- utilize internet marketing and social media platforms
- manage lease renewals and resident satisfaction
- respond promptly to resident and owner concerns and questions
- maintain leasing office and show units to company standards
- use property management software to track availability and manage resident data
- follow up with prospects and new residents for lease finalization and renewals
