Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Food Safety Professional Certification or local food handlers permit if required
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms including overhead
  • Ability to talk and hear
  • Visual ability to read instructions and perform responsibilities
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb including use of a 6-foot ladder
  • Ability to balance
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart
  • Ability to prepare foods using raw products such as meats and poultry
  • Ability to use utensils and small appliances including knives, convection oven, coffee maker, fryer, microwaves
  • Contact with cleaning supplies
  • Professional appearance and proper grooming
  • English language proficiency
  • Bilingual skills based on business needs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or one to three months related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in using personal computer and mobile device applications and internal systems
  • Food Safety Professional Certification or local food handlers permit if required
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb a 6-foot ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to prepare foods using raw products and small kitchen appliances
  • English language skills
  • Bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity

Job Duties

  • Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies ensuring cleanliness and security
  • Communicate with store management about upcoming and past events when Supervisor is absent
  • Act as point person for events during Supervisor absence
  • Assist other Event Specialists with event kits and materials
  • Provide leadership and knowledge to the team
  • Gain and maintain knowledge of products represented
  • Proactively engage, intercept, and sell products to consumers
  • Prepare and serve food samples complying with food safety guidelines
  • Utilize small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, and coffee makers for product demonstrations
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Set up and prepare event table for execution
  • Complete all assigned work
  • Assist with preparation for client visits and audit corrections
  • Build rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives
  • Complete expense reports as per company policy
  • Submit online requirements on event execution day
  • Document perfect table setups with digital photos
