Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- physically strong and able to handle demanding labor
- willingness to work variable shifts including nights and weekends
- capacity to train and operate loading equipment
- ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately
- ability to work in remote and challenging environments
- no prior loadmaster experience required
Job Qualifications
- strong background in cargo handling or logistics
- excellent physical fitness
- ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- familiarity with FAA regulations preferred
- attention to detail and safety focus
- ability to work variable schedules including night, weekend, and on-call shifts
Job Duties
- Calculate aircraft weight and balance in accordance with FAA regulations
- oversee loading and unloading of cargo
- operate forklifts and ground loading equipment
- secure cargo with proper restraint systems
- document cargo and complete final weight and balance paperwork
- monitor cargo during flight as required crew member
- supervise loading activities in remote and austere locations
