Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Experience in cargo handling or related logistics preferred
  • Willingness to work variable schedules including night, weekend, and on-call shifts
  • Strong understanding of weight and balance principles
  • Capability to work safely in extreme weather conditions
  • Willingness to undergo and complete paid training program

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in cargo handling or logistics preferred
  • Strong mathematical skills for weight and balance calculations
  • Ability to operate forklifts and ground equipment
  • Knowledge of FAA safety regulations
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Physical fitness required for demanding work conditions

Job Duties

  • Calculate and verify weight and balance of aircraft
  • Supervise and physically load and secure cargo on aircraft
  • Inspect cargo including hazardous materials for compliance and safety
  • Operate forklifts, K-loaders, and other ground support equipment
  • Complete and sign weight and balance documentation for FAA compliance
  • Monitor cargo hold during flight and address any shifting or issues
  • Manage cargo offloading in remote locations
