Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in cargo handling or logistics preferred
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Strong mathematical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and on-call
  • Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Must be safety conscious and detail oriented

Job Qualifications

  • Strong background in cargo handling or logistics
  • Mathematical aptitude for weight and balance calculations
  • Ability to operate forklifts and ground loading equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Physical fitness to handle demanding manual labor
  • Capability to work variable schedules including nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Calculate weight and balance for aircraft load plans
  • Load, secure, and document cargo according to FAA and company policies
  • Operate ground equipment including forklifts and loaders
  • Fly as a required crew member managing cargo hold safety during flight
  • Supervise loading and unloading operations in remote locations
  • Complete final paperwork and sign off on weight and balance for each flight
  • Adhere to safety protocols and handle hazardous materials appropriately
