- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles preferred
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to follow safety procedures
- availability to work flexible hours including night shifts
- reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Duties
- clean the interior of buildings including floors carpets rugs windows and walls and general tasks
- vacuum sweep and mop floors in offices rooms hallways lobbies lounges elevators stairs locker rooms and other work areas
- clean stains from chairs and upholstered furniture
- keep furniture free of dust along with lighting fixtures marble surfaces and moldings
- empty trash cans and clean trash cans and ashtrays
- disinfect commonly used items such as desks door handles office tools and phones
- clean and maintain restrooms and replenish supplies in these areas
- wash and clean windows and mirrors
- empty trash and recycling containers to disposal area
- clean trash and snow from sidewalks if necessary
- maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request missing materials from supervisors
- notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or maintenance needs
- maintain a cleaning chart indicating cleaned and inspected areas
- follow safety and precaution rules
- lift up to 50 pounds
- close doors at the end of the night shift
