Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass all pre-employment testing including drug testing and physical examination
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write proficiently in English
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for long periods at ticket counters and gate check-in areas
  • Will be exposed to respiratory irritants such as jet fumes
  • Must pass FBI criminal background check and obtain customs seal
  • Must successfully complete initial new hire classroom and on-the-job training
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have knowledge of computer software programs

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee gate and counter operations to ensure a smooth passenger experience
  • Lift and move customer luggage, including heavy pieces
  • Ensure accuracy of weight and balance requirements for baggage
  • Handle customer service complaints promptly and professionally
  • Complete all check-in procedures including reservations, ticketing, seat assignments, announcements, and documentation checks
  • Assist customers with special needs and unaccompanied minors
  • Operate jet ways and manage aircraft door operations safely
  • Train new passenger service associates
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and statutory regulations
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed
