Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality environment is an asset
  • understanding of OSHA and Global Harmonized System (GHS) safety standards
  • ability to lift and carry heavy linen and supplies
  • able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • prepare units for housekeeping cleaning upon guest departure
  • assist with linen duties including receiving, sorting, folding, and collecting soiled linen
  • organize, clean, and maintain department storage areas and stock levels
  • deliver linen, paper products, and unit amenities to guest units
  • strip and make beds
  • remove trash from units and floors
  • coordinate and create linen and amenities bags
  • deliver requested items such as irons, coffee, and kitchen utensils to guest units
