Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of hospitality or equivalent experience
- ability to walk, kneel, stoop, and stand for entire shift
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- open availability or ability to work evening shifts
- ability to multitask and organize workload
- ability to work well in a team environment
- ability to remain calm under time constraints
- strong attention to detail and efficiency
- ability to work with minimal supervision
- maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years experience in hospitality or equivalent
- advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred
- working knowledge of property safety and security procedures
- service oriented with excellent customer service and sales skills
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- energetic and outgoing personality
- excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- ability to follow directions with attention to detail
- ability to work under minimal supervision
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera software preferred
- ability to type 45 words per minute and input data accurately
- ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion
Job Duties
- Walk, kneel, stoop, and stand for entire shift while cleaning guest rooms
- strip beds and remove soiled linen, terry, and trash
- check under beds and sofas for debris and clean bedroom/closet area
- vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in guest areas
- dust furniture, lamps, headboards, pictures, and planters
- clean kitchen counters, cabinets, drawers, and refrigerators
- clean bathroom counters, floors, and showers/tub
- report missing/found articles, damage, or maintenance problems to supervisor
- receive assigned section, keys, supplies, and priority requests
- respond in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner to guests and staff
- report guest issues and complaints to management
