Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum one year of housekeeping experience
  • ability to work varied and non traditional shifts including weekends
  • capability to perform fast-paced cleaning tasks unsupervised
  • compliance with infection prevention and safety protocols
  • physical ability to move equipment and perform cleaning tasks
  • adeptness with communication devices
  • willingness to participate in ongoing training and development

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED
  • minimum one year of housekeeping experience
  • ability to operate handheld communication devices
  • knowledge of standard measurement units
  • ability to follow directions and work independently
  • strong attention to detail
  • good interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Work variety of non traditional shifts including rotating weekends
  • perform discharge cleaning using standard procedures and chemicals
  • utilize ATP testing to ensure quality compliance
  • maintain knowledge of discharge cleaning procedures across multiple patient care areas
  • follow hospital infection prevention, HR, and safety policies
  • clean and maintain equipment, furniture, and various surfaces
  • keep housekeeping cart and closet organized and stocked
  • respond promptly and professionally to communication devices
  • participate in team meetings and training
  • perform assigned duties independently and reliably
