  • Must be available every other weekend
  • previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Perform daily housekeeping functions in resident rooms and common areas
  • clean and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures, floors, carpets, walls, and ceilings
  • remove waste/trash, reline containers, and maintain a sanitary environment
  • ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored
  • complete terminal cleaning when residents are discharged or transferred
  • collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry and linens
  • treat stained or soiled items according to established procedures
  • maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area
  • distribute clean laundry to residents and departments daily
  • follow infection control, universal precautions, and safety procedures
