Concord Hospitality is currently seeking Housekeepers to join their dedicated team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of the hotel guest rooms, which directly influences guest satisfaction and loyalty. The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned rooms efficiently and according to the hotel’s established standards. Attention to detail is essential in this role, as the appearance and cleanliness of a guest room often determine the guests’ overall impressions and willingness to return.
In this position, Housekeepers will be expected to keep their linen carts neat, well stocked, and organized, ensuring they have all necessary supplies to perform their duties effectively throughout their shift. They will also be responsible for reporting any maintenance issues such as problems with fixtures, door locks, televisions, or HVAC systems, helping maintain the property in optimal condition and ensuring guest comfort. Maintaining security of all equipment, keys, and cleaning supplies issued is a critical responsibility to ensure safety and accountability.
Housekeepers will interact with guests, responding to their requests courteously and promptly to enhance the guest experience further. This role requires not only physical diligence but also a customer-service-oriented mindset. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including bending lifting and reaching
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Must be reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work well as a member of a team
- Detail oriented and capable of carrying out tasks with all necessary details
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner following procedures and hotel standards
- Keep an organized linen cart that is neat well stocked and organized
- Report any areas within guest rooms that need attention such as fixtures door locks televisions HVAC etc
- Maintain security of equipment key and supplies issued
- Report lost and found articles to supervisor
- Respond to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner
