Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel operations management
  • experience managing food and beverage and event teams
  • excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • proficiency with inventory and scheduling management systems
  • commitment to upholding brand standards and guest satisfaction

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • proven experience in food and beverage and event operations leadership
  • strong guest service and communication skills
  • demonstrated ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams
  • knowledge of hotel operational procedures and standards
  • financial acumen related to budget management and cost control
  • familiarity with safety and compliance regulations

Job Duties

  • Oversee the daily operations of food and beverage outlets including WXYZ Bar, breakfast service, banquet functions, and event support in the Diamond Conference Center
  • coordinate with culinary, front office, and events teams to ensure seamless execution of events and group services
  • provide support to housekeeping and maintenance teams during non-peak event times
  • maintain operational readiness across the property supporting the General Manager
  • assist in managing and improving standard operating procedures, scheduling, and service delivery
  • act as a visible, engaged leader during peak periods and high occupancy
  • proactively interact with guests to assess satisfaction and address concerns
  • lead and support food and beverage and event staff through coaching, scheduling, training, and supervision
  • collaborate with department heads on cross-training opportunities
  • support recruitment, onboarding, and development of associates
  • assist in managing food and beverage inventory, ordering, and vendor relations
  • review financial reports and assist with forecasting and budgeting
  • monitor labor and expense metrics
  • ensure operational compliance with safety regulations, brand standards, and laws
