Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years experience in upscale hotel housekeeping or a related area
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English both spoken and written
  • Obtain and maintain any required certification or license
  • Willingness and ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 75 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated strong supervisory skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years experience in upscale hotel housekeeping or related field
  • Casino hotel experience preferred
  • One year experience leading and coaching others preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
  • Obtain and maintain any required certification or license
  • Knowledge of hotel housekeeping service techniques and productivity levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and property management systems
  • Proven supervisory problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to identify and prioritize issues and delegate appropriately
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with diverse team members and guests
  • Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assist Housekeeping Manager in leading all housekeeping operations
  • Monitor and evaluate all daily departmental activities for assigned team members
  • Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service
  • Assign and distribute room assignments and work duties
  • Coordinate scheduling and completion of deep cleaning and projects
  • Ensure timely and efficient execution of guest room turnover
  • Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness standards and inspect VIP guest suites
  • Inspect all vacant clean rooms and release in system as ready for occupancy
  • Inspect house runner sections and landing closets daily and provide scores
  • Monitor report status and discrepancy of rooms
  • Ensure inventory PAR levels are adequate for volume
  • Track and review IVR requests and guest comments and adjust process as needed
  • Attend pre-con meetings for arriving groups
  • Facilitate resolution of guest relations issues
  • Assist Housekeeping manager with timely performance reviews and maintain scorecards
  • Maintain up to date on health and safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure proper usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies
  • Ensure essential equipment, parts, and chemicals are on hand and in safe working condition before projects begin
  • Provide unmatched service to guests at all times
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
