Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
- Associate's degree and at least 3 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office operating system
- Ability to manipulate and troubleshoot spreadsheets
- Ability to type memos and reports
- Supervisor experience required
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful, high pressure situations
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Effective problem handling skills
- Ability to assimilate complex information from disparate sources

Job Duties
- Maintains regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards
- Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Approaches all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner
- Oversees duties of General Cashier including daily reconciliation of deposits
- Maintains controls for all cashier banks in the hotel
- Oversees Accounts Receivable including proper posting of city ledger payments and collection calls
- Reviews bank deposits and ensures handling according to standards
- Maintains responsibility for billing of accounts receivables
- Conducts credit meetings with the accounting team and General Manager
- Maintains records of approved direct billing accounts
- Processes returned checks and credit card chargebacks
- Performs Accounts Receivable Balancing monthly
- Maintains Special Operating Account and Petty Cash Fund
- Vouchers A&G and PT & EB invoices using Purchase Order and Checkbook procedures
- Ensures timely submission of hotel invoices to Corporate Accounts Payable
- Performs daily Income Audit using Income Audit Checklist
- Ensures Daily Income Journal accuracy and submission
- Reconciles credit cards and cash daily
- Prepares and submits Corporate Flash Report
- Completes monthly checklist and month-end package
- Monitors Front Office and Night Audit accounting procedures
- Oversees training of Night Audit personnel
- Processes bi-weekly payroll
- Ensures timely processing of new hire paperwork
- Produces weekly productivity reports
- Computes worked hours for payroll
- Ensures associates remain attentive and courteous
- Applies state and local laws affecting payroll
- Records and monitors associate benefits use
- Manages records storage
- Maintains professional relationships and communication
- Familiar with Standard Operation Procedures
- Attends staff meetings and provides training
- Participates in MOD coverage
- Maintains confidentiality
- Performs random house bank audits
- Assists in inventory counting
- Reviews general ledger and financial statements
- Develops Night Audit staff for promotion
- Performs other duties as assigned
