The Host/Hostess role is essential to our restaurant's success as the first point of contact for our guests. This position requires an outgoing and personable individual who loves making small talk, remembering guests’ names, and providing a friendly smile to everyone who walks through our doors. This role is both challenging and rewarding, offering flexible scheduling options including full-time and part-time shifts, with a competitive hourly pay rate of $17.13 plus tips. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- must be friendly and great with guests
- must be able to work on feet for hours at a time
- strong guest and customer service skills
- friendly and people skills required
- ability to utilize restaurant POS software platform
- must be able to work weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in customer service or hospitality industry is a plus
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- proficiency with restaurant POS software preferred
- friendly and outgoing personality
- strong guest service orientation
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude
- manage reservations and seating assignments using restaurant POS software
- engage guests with small talk and learn their names when possible
- maintain a clean and organized host area
- assist with coordinating wait times and communicating with guests
- provide excellent customer service ensuring guest satisfaction
- work collaboratively with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations
