Job Requirements
- Provide at least one year full-service restaurant experience
- Demonstrate accurate mathematic skills
- Know menu and specials
- Understand restaurant layout including table and station numbers
- Meet personal schedule requirements punctually
- Be warm, sincere, outgoing in personality
- Stand for prolonged periods while on duty
- Move safely through the restaurant
- Work amid noise in confined crowded spaces
- Move chairs and transport high chairs or booster seats as needed
- Work nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of full-service restaurant experience or equivalent
- Strong mathematic skills for reservation and seating management
- Knowledge of menu items and daily specials
- Understanding of restaurant layout including table and station numbers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- Warm, sincere, and outgoing personality
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests warmly and efficiently
- Answer phones, take messages and manage reservations accurately
- Maintain an organized and clean host station and waiting area
- Balance seating among servers to ensure an even distribution of guests
- Accurately quote wait times and manage guest wait lists during busy periods
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure smooth service
- Assist with moving tables and managing seating arrangements for larger parties
