The community prides itself on fostering a culture of hospitality that values respect, dignity, and individualized attention for each resident. This commitment extends not only to residents but also to their families and the dedicated staff who form the backbone of the community.
As part of an extraordinary company, Windsor at Celebration invests deeply in the growth and development of its employees. The organization believes that its success is rooted in the satisfaction and well-being of both residents and team members. Employees are encouraged to embrace and embody the LCS Hospitality Promises™, which include greeting others warmly by name, treating everyone with courteous respect, anticipating needs, and maintaining high levels of professionalism in conduct and appearance. This culture fosters a supportive workplace where differences are valued, accountability is embraced, and the focus on detailed, attentive service is paramount.
Windsor at Celebration is currently recruiting for a hospitality-focused Valet Attendant/Driver to join its exceptional team. This full-time role offers an hourly wage ranging from $15 to $16, reflecting the company's commitment to fair compensation. The position is pivotal in ensuring residents receive safe and comfortable transportation services to grocery stores, monthly outings, and extended trips, enhancing their quality of life and access to community engagement opportunities.
The Valet Attendant/Driver is responsible for a variety of duties that go beyond driving. The role includes assisting residents and guests with arrivals and departures, parking and retrieving vehicles, delivering packages, flowers, and prescriptions, as well as providing general housekeeping support as needed. This multifaceted position requires a strong customer service attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with the Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator to facilitate smooth and enjoyable outings.
Daily responsibilities also encompass assisting residents on and off transportation vehicles, tracking attendance, coordinating mobility equipment such as walkers and wheelchairs, and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of vehicles. Scheduling and coordinating routine vehicle maintenance is a critical part of the role to uphold safety and reliability standards. Additionally, the Valet Attendant/Driver serves as a back-up for the Concierge, providing additional support to maintain the community's high standard of hospitality.
This position is particularly suited for candidates who are enthusiastic, compassionate, and passionate about senior engagement and hospitality. A high school diploma or GED is required, alongside a minimum of six months experience as a bus or van driver. Windsor at Celebration is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment and supports employees with various benefits and opportunities for growth. The community also adheres to health and safety protocols, requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an approved exemption as a condition of employment.
Joining Windsor at Celebration means becoming part of a team that is not just performing a job but contributing to extraordinary lives. Employees have the chance to engage closely with some of the wisest people on earth and make a tangible difference in their daily lives through professional care and heartfelt hospitality. The role offers a unique combination of meaningful work and career development within a supportive, values-driven organization dedicated to senior living excellence.
