Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
  • good interpersonal skills
  • no allergies to cleaning products
  • prior experience in hospitality a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • ability to perform physical cleaning duties efficiently
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of assigned hotel areas
  • attend to guest needs to uphold exceptional guest service and financial success
  • thoroughly sanitize specific zones including washrooms, communal spaces, workspaces, and event venues for cleanliness
  • dust, shine furniture and fittings
  • use a vacuum, sweep, scrub, clean carpets, wash glass panes, and maintain floors by cleaning and waxing
  • welcome visitors warmly with a friendly attitude
  • keep inventory and organize storage areas when required
  • fulfill guest demands and aid in the upkeep of guest accommodations when required
