- prior experience operating heavy construction equipment preferred
- understanding of safe equipment operation practices

Job Qualifications
- previous experience operating heavy construction equipment preferred
- knowledge of general principles and practices of operating and servicing heavy construction equipment preferred
- ability to work overtime and extended hours as needed
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- tolerance to loud noise environments
Job Duties
- Promote safety throughout the operation in accordance with MSHA and company standards
- operate off-highway heavy equipment to transport raw materials or finished products safely and efficiently
- perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete accurate daily mobile equipment reports
- maintain equipment by checking fluid levels and assisting in minor maintenance tasks
- monitor plant operations and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- perform additional duties as assigned
