Job Requirements
- At least a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Preferably one year of experience in customer service, hotel, food and beverage, administrative, or business related fields
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency with computers and facsimile machines
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations
- Capacity to stand, sit, and walk for over 4 hours
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Background screening clearance
- Pass at least 80% on hotel’s reservations system test after training
Job Qualifications

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database management
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations

- Emotional intelligence and ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette
Job Duties
- Ensure appropriate checking in and checking out of guests
- Provide courteous and professional guest services
- Assist with front office, PBX, and concierge duties
- Verify guest reservation status and process registrations
- Post guest charges and maintain accurate guest folios
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments
- Use suggestive selling techniques to promote hotel services
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area
- Adhere to safety, emergency, and cash-handling procedures
