Job Requirements
- One year of warehousing experience performing duties such as receiving storing issuing shipping operation of manual material movement equipment
- Ability to operate forklift capable of lifting up to 10 000 pounds to heights of 168 inches
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent educational level
- Ability to perform physical work including standing stooping bending and lifting objects weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Willingness to work both inside and outside environments including cold damp drafty and hot areas
- Must receive Hazardous Material HazMat training within 90 days of hire
- Ability to follow safety protocols and supervisor instructions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- One year of warehousing experience including forklift operation
- Ability to operate forklift capable of lifting 10 000 pounds
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving documentation
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving heavy materials
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse environment
- Willingness to receive Hazardous Material HazMat training
Job Duties
- Operates forklift capable of lifting up to 10 000 pounds as high as 168 inches to move load or unload transfer transport stack or unstack palletized goods boxes crates merchandise materials and supplies from one location to another
- Performs warehousing duties including selecting stock for shipment or transfer and verifying information against stock tags and documents
- Receives merchandise supplies and equipment from vendors or manufacturers by unloading trucks and checking items against receiving documents
- Places identified stock in appropriate temporary or permanent storage locations according to instructions
- Assists in taking inventories by determining quantities on hand
- Operates forklift to load vans for shipment overseas including checking weighing arranging and selecting merchandise
- Works under the general supervision of a designated supervisor ensuring compliance with instructions
