Job Requirements

  • Upcoming or recent graduate from a hospitality management post-secondary program an asset
  • Minimum one to two years' experience within the hospitality or service industry
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership experience through work, extracurriculars, or studies
  • Passion to grow and develop within the industry and Four Seasons brand
  • Strong communication skills in English, additional spoken languages considered an asset

Job Duties

  • Assisting the Food & Beverage management teams in training and supervising staff
  • Supervising the floor during meal periods to ensure standards and sequence of service are met
  • Ensuring checklist, requisitions, and proper opening and closing functions are completed each shift
  • Communicating effectively with guests and employees using a positive voice
  • Listening to understand requests, responding appropriately, and providing accurate information
  • Remaining calm and alert during emergencies and busy periods, serving as a role model
  • Monitoring food quality and service standards throughout the facility and kitchen
  • Ensuring adherence to hotel cash handling procedures
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the food and beverage outlets daily
  • Assisting with monthly inventory of beverages, chinaware, glasses, silverware, and linen
  • Planning and setting up special events
  • Ensuring maintenance of equipment and training staff on proper use
  • Supporting all Food and Beverage operations including supervising other areas
  • Assisting management with scheduling, labor management, and payroll
