Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent preferred
- English language is required for this position
- Floor maintenance experience with buffer, waxer, strippers, canister vacuum cleaners, and shop vacuums
- Completion of on-the-job training
- Undeterred by exposure to hazardous chemicals, bodily fluids, and communicable and infectious diseases
- Resilient to noise
- Physically agile
- Excellent communication skills

Job Duties
- Cleaning offices, hallways, public areas, and other areas
- Operate floor scrubber and carpet extractor equipment
- Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing different floor types, i.e. (Tile, Terrazzo)
- Carpet cleaning, shampooing, bonnet cleaning, and hot water extraction
- Removing stains or debris from floors using the appropriate cleaning tools and products
- Measuring cleaning chemicals correctly along with operating chemical dispensing units
- Labeling chemicals correctly
- Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently
- Replenishing cleaning and maintenance supplies as needed in designated areas
- Assisting in moving furniture and other heavy items for comprehensive floor cleaning
- Always follow safety procedures and guidelines
- Reporting maintenance issues to the supervisor
- Assisting with the hazardous waste collection as requested by the supervisor
