Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- pass a drug test including marijuana and random drug screens
- pass a DOT physical
- be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs and up to 150 lbs with hand truck
- pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
- have reliable transportation to and from work
- be punctual and ready to work each day
- be able to climb stairs
- be able to work in all types of weather
- have a strong work ethic and get it done attitude
Job Qualifications
- Have prior work-related driving experience
- possess strong work ethic and get-it-done attitude
- demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team
- be physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and up to 150 lbs with a hand truck
- provide excellent customer service
- be familiar with vehicle safety and operation
- experience with package delivery or courier services preferred
Job Duties
- Operate vehicle safely at all times
- deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences
- perform daily vehicle inspections including checking fluid levels
- load vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads
- work independently and as part of a team
- provide exceptional customer service and maintain communication with manager
- accurately operate scanner and track delivery process
- ensure accurate disposition of packages
- consistently complete delivery route in a timely manner
