Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in residential security or executive protection
- Valid Guard Card
- Valid Firearm Permit
- U.S. Passport
- Driver's License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- CPR/AED certification
- Completion of background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to pass a pre-hire Physical Readiness Test (PRT)
- Strong communication skills
- Situational awareness
- Discretion and professionalism
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Prior work in Residential Security Teams (RST), Executive Protection, Military, Law Enforcement, or Emergency Response
- Familiarity with estate operations and high-net-worth residential environments
- Valid Guard Card and Firearm Permit
- U.S. Passport and Driver's License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA
- CPR/AED Certification
- Completion of Residential Security or Executive Protection Academy
- Background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to complete and pass a pre-hire Physical Readiness Test (PRT)
- Strong situational awareness and tactical mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
- Familiarity with residential security technologies and protocols
- Prior military or law enforcement experience
- LEOSA/HR 218 or multi-state CCW permit (when/where applicable)
- Specialized training in emergency medicine, crisis management, or surveillance
- Experience with estate management systems and smart home security platforms
Job Duties
- Monitor and secure property boundaries, gates, and entry points
- Vet and manage access for visitors, contractors, and deliveries
- Operate and monitor residential security systems including CCTV, motion sensors, and alarm systems
- Act as first responder to medical emergencies, intrusions, fire alarms, and other incidents within the residence
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled patrols of the property, ensuring all zones are secure and free of threats
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with household members and staff
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, maintenance issues, and suspicious activity
- Support mobile executive protection teams during arrivals and departures and coordinate with estate management for seamless operations
- Uphold household security protocols including rules around photography, guest access, and restricted areas
