Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience as a medical receptionist preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency in data entry and computer use
- Ability to type accurately and spell correctly
- Familiarity with complementary and alternative medicine therapies is a plus
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to organize and manage time effectively
- Professional demeanor
- Capability to facilitate group interactions
- Excellent customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1 year medical receptionist experience preferred
- Experience with medical terminology
- Proficient data entry and computer skills
- Proficient typing and accurate spelling
- Experience or familiarity with complementary and alternative medicine therapies preferred

Job Duties
- Answers multi-line telephone and provides routine information to callers and patients
- Takes messages and places pages
- Contacts patients by telephone to confirm scheduling information and communicates patient schedules and changes to the appropriate staff
- Performs patient check-in and initial patient registration tasks and ensures accurate completion of forms
- Collects patients' post charges and payments and completes patient receipts in a timely fashion
- Orders, monitors and stocks all paper supplies including retail items
- Processes incoming and outgoing mail and supply deliveries
- Files and maintains an orderly medical records system
