Job Requirements

  • five plus years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • current ServSafe certification
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • ability to manage and develop teams
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings

Job Qualifications

  • five plus years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues required
  • extensive banquet style events experience
  • experience managing and developing teams
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to become certified preferred

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company's mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, cost of sales, labor, and supplies, as well as operating cash flow related to food operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events, including preparation and service of food and beverage and cleanup
  • estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
  • schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume changes
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff including developing sous chefs and lead cooks
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits to comply with local Department of Health regulations
  • report any critical issues to the General Manager
