Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience required
  • no certification or license required
  • ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
  • ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner
  • willingness to adhere to company safety policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Meet with group coordinators or hosts before receptions
  • perform introductions and ensure all preparations are arranged
  • read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information
  • determine proper organization, timeline, and specific guest needs
  • attend to and fulfill special banquet arrangements
  • follow up on special banquet event preparations to ensure compliance
  • comply with company safety policies and report maintenance or safety hazards
  • maintain professional uniform and personal appearance
  • protect company information and assets
  • support coworkers with dignity and respect
  • assist the team in achieving common goals
  • meet quality assurance standards
  • move, lift, transport, push, or pull objects under 25 pounds independently
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • visually inspect tools and equipment
  • reach overhead and below knees including bending and twisting
  • navigate tight, confined, or elevated spaces
  • move on uneven, inclined, or slippery surfaces and stairways
  • welcome and recognize all guests according to company standards
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • answer telephones with proper etiquette
  • perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
