Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Administration, Recreation Administration, or closely related field
- minimum two years of industry experience
- ability to perform duties satisfactorily
- physical ability to stand or walk up to 8-10 hours daily
- ability to work extended or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- excellent communication skills
- supervisory experience preferred
- working knowledge of Microsoft software
- ability to maintain effective relationships with clients and staff
- adherence to safety codes and emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Administration, Recreation Administration, or related field
- minimum two years industry experience or equivalent
- excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- proficiency with Microsoft computer software
- supervisory experience preferred
- problem-solving and communication abilities

- ability to work under pressure and stringent schedules
- ability to work independently and with management
- knowledge of event coordination practices and procedures
Job Duties
- Discuss and confirm with the client regarding all aspects of contracted events
- produce detailed event coordination sheets no later than three weeks prior to events
- create computer-drawn floor plans that comply with life safety and fire codes and obtain fire marshal approval
- guide clients by interpreting contracts, policies and procedures
- keep clients informed about deadline schedules and event status
- monitor in-house events and maintain contact with clients and facility staff
- follow up on client requests and concerns
- supervise and approve event set-ups, making necessary changes
- provide detailed event recaps for accurate invoicing and documentation
- assist in training and scheduling guest services and security personnel
- perform administrative duties such as distributing coordination sheets and recaps
- prepare incident and accident reports as Manager on Duty
- oversee PT Guest Services and Security personnel
- work extended and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- act as Manager on Duty during scheduled events
- perform other duties as assigned
