Job Requirements
- Basic reading ability
- Ability to follow simple instructions

- Ability to perform physical duties involving moving furniture and supplies

- Willingness to perform physical tasks involving cleaning and moving light items
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of cleaning and janitorial duties as assigned
- Maintain hospital building and all assigned areas in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition
- Move light furniture, equipment and supplies in all work areas including patient rooms, nursing stations, corridors, lounges, bathrooms, nourishment rooms, utility rooms and offices
- Follow documented procedures for cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Interact tactfully with public and hospital personnel
- Ensure compliance with hospital hygiene and safety standards
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervision
