Job Requirements
- Basic literacy skills
- Ability to carry out janitorial duties
- Experience with cleaning equipment preferred
- Ability to work full time 7a to 330p
- Tactfulness in dealings with others
- Reliability and good attendance
- Physical capability to move light furniture and supplies
Job Qualifications
- Basic ability to read and understand simple instructions

- Skills in operating Environmental Services cleaning equipment

Job Duties
- Perform a variety of cleaning and janitorial duties throughout hospital areas
- Maintain sanitary, orderly and attractive condition of assigned locations
- Move light furniture, equipment and supplies within work areas
- Clean patient rooms, nursing stations, corridors, lounges, bathrooms, nourishment rooms, utility rooms, and offices
- Operate Environmental Services cleaning equipment with proficiency
- Follow documented procedures and simple instructions
- Interact tactfully with hospital personnel and the public
