Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • 1-year commercial driving experience
  • valid CDL-A license
  • age 21 or older
  • meet all state licensing and certification requirements
  • clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
  • pass road test
  • valid or able to obtain DOT health card
  • physical ability to hand-lift and use equipment for moving products

Job Qualifications

  • valid CDL-A license
  • must be 21 years or older
  • meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
  • clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
  • pass road test
  • attain or have valid current DOT health card or be able to secure new DOT health card
  • able to hand-lift and use equipment such as two-wheeler and lift gate to move and stack products of varying weight

Job Duties

  • perform all required safety checks including pre and post trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
  • follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
  • immediately report all safety hazards and inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
  • perform count check of items and review customer invoices for loaded products while completing accurate paperwork
  • move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed
  • drive to and deliver customer orders according to route delivery schedule and unload products into designated areas
  • perform damage control checks on items, scan shipments, report issues to supervisor, verify deliveries with customers, and collect payments when required
