Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license
  • able to pass federal, state, and local background checks
  • able to pass drug and alcohol tests
  • physically capable of performing medium work
  • able to operate commercial motor vehicles with Gross Vehicle Weight Range of 10,000-26,000 lb
  • availability to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday
  • good communication skills
  • able to comply with Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
  • good interpersonal skills
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • generally prefer 2-4 years of relevant experience

Job Duties

  • Verify shipment-bills for required information and load freight onto trucks
  • unload freight from trucks and weigh/check dimensions compared to shipper’s calculations
  • sort outbound freight between overnight and second-day and load ULD and trucks
  • deliver freight to customer location using company vehicles
  • recover freight from customer location using company vehicles
  • meet all Federal and State standards of qualification for commercial drivers
  • adhere to safety regulations and operational procedures
