- Be at least 18 years old
- Have access to a vehicle such as a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Possess a valid driver’s license number
- Provide a Social Security number (only in the US)
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Must be 21 or older to deliver alcohol
- Complete identity verification successfully
- Adhere to local laws and regulations
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old, valid driver’s license number, access to a vehicle such as car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities), ability to use a smartphone consistently, Social Security number (US only), reliable and punctual, good communication skills, ability to navigate local geography effectively
Job Duties
- Pick up food, grocery, or retail orders from restaurants or stores
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- Use the DoorDash app to manage delivery requests and communicate with customers
- Maintain a safe and professional demeanor during deliveries
- Handle payments and cash out earnings using the DoorDash Crimson payment system
- Comply with local and state regulations regarding delivery, especially when delivering alcohol
- Provide excellent customer service ensuring a positive delivery experience
