Job Requirements
- Possess a current and valid AZ driver’s license with good driving record
- Must pass driving and driver safety video series
- Familiarity with Phoenix Metro area
- Knowledge of building materials and handling
- Pass criminal background check
- Pass drug screening
- Pass motor vehicle record check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of three years of experience as a truck driver
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to de-escalate negative donor and customer interactions
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Ability to convey clear, concise information
- Ability to complete formal training plans and assignments

Job Duties
- Act as the representative of Habitat for Humanity ReStores to ensure that all donors are treated professionally and courteously
- Attempt to resolve any issues that may arise in the course of a donation pick up and immediately report issues that occur
- At the conclusion of every interaction, genuinely thank the donor and express gratitude for their contribution
- Utilize schedule software to execute daily routes and pick up donations as assigned
- Use provided resources to contact donors if there is a change to previously communicated pick up time
- Constant communication with call center dispatch on job updates and reschedules
- Identify items that meet quality standards and are suitable for resale following ReStore guidelines
- Inspect donations carefully and enforce requirements tactfully
- Ensure that care is taken to protect the security and safe handling of all donated goods and materials from removal at donor, loading on truck, to delivery at store
- Protection of company assets by securing all loading doors, tools, and vehicles before during and after routes
- Keep box area and cab area clean and organized
- Mandatory PPE and safety resource usage at all times while operating vehicles and loading/unloading
- Maintain compliance with all issued training, including LMS training assigned
- Keep appropriate records
- Complete Truck Inspection Reports daily and report maintenance and safety conditions to supervisor verbally
- Maintain a neat appearance and good hygiene, including clean clothing and wearing designated uniform and applicable PPE
