Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proven leadership in managing large teams
  • Strong budget management skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Located in or willing to relocate to Miami/Ft. Lauderdale
  • Ability to work in-office Tuesday through Thursday
  • Commitment to ethical and compliant workplace culture
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in entertainment, recreation, tourism, hospitality, education or business
  • Master’s degree a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • 10+ years proven expertise in cruise ships, family, youth or recreation areas
  • Leadership experience managing shipboard personnel and activities
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting and planning
  • Analytical skills for data-driven decision making
  • Experience in risk and change management
  • Project management skills in fast-paced environments
  • Effective communication and ethical judgment
  • Industry-specific experience in cruise and family entertainment

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to enhance youth and family experience across the fleet
  • Lead strategic partnership plans to provide unique onboard experiences
  • Oversee product development and maintenance of youth and family onboard venues
  • Innovate and elevate onboard activations through external partnerships
  • Design and deliver safe, compelling supervised programs for children and teens
  • Lead product development for new builds and dry dock refits
  • Build and enhance revenue streams through fee-based experiences
  • Conceptualize and maintain brand standards for youth and family programs
  • Propose and review marketing efforts supporting partnerships and youth programs
  • Oversee quality assurance strategies to exceed guest expectations
  • Establish clear goals aligned with business strategies
  • Provide leadership and development for shoreside and shipboard teams
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align entertainment efforts
  • Ensure safety practices and compliance adherence
  • Use data analytics for program evaluation and continuous improvement
  • Manage financial plans exceeding $20 million in operating and capital expenses
  • Partner with sourcing and procurement for vendor management
