Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience as cashier preferred
- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- basic math proficiency
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights

- ability to follow company policies and procedures
- capacity to handle fast-paced retail environment
Job Qualifications
- One year of cashier experience preferred but willingness to train candidates passionate about coffee and customer service
- availability to work varied hours and days dictated by business needs
- open weekend availability required
- ability to process information and merchandise through computer system and POS register system
- ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- ability to read, write, and count to complete all documentation accurately
- physical capability to move, carry or handle merchandise throughout the store
- passion for food and beverage with a positive attitude
- strong work ethic, reliability, and enjoyment working with people
- pride in exceeding customer expectations
Job Duties
- Speak and interact with both new and regular customers
- exceed customer service expectations
- complete sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers' purchases, and accepting cash or credit card payments from customers
- carefully bag customer orders as needed
- resolve customer issues and answer questions
- maintain a clean and sanitized work station
- follow health and safety guidelines
- be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
- contribute to a positive team environment
