Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience as cashier preferred
  • availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • basic math proficiency
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights

  • punctuality and dependable attendance
  • ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • capacity to handle fast-paced retail environment

Job Qualifications

  • One year of cashier experience preferred but willingness to train candidates passionate about coffee and customer service
  • availability to work varied hours and days dictated by business needs
  • open weekend availability required
  • ability to process information and merchandise through computer system and POS register system
  • ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • ability to read, write, and count to complete all documentation accurately
  • physical capability to move, carry or handle merchandise throughout the store
  • passion for food and beverage with a positive attitude
  • strong work ethic, reliability, and enjoyment working with people
  • pride in exceeding customer expectations

Job Duties

  • Speak and interact with both new and regular customers
  • exceed customer service expectations
  • complete sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers' purchases, and accepting cash or credit card payments from customers
  • carefully bag customer orders as needed
  • resolve customer issues and answer questions
  • maintain a clean and sanitized work station
  • follow health and safety guidelines
  • be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
  • contribute to a positive team environment
