Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • valid Class C driver’s license or proper license classification
  • high school diploma or GED
  • prior work experience sufficient to work under general supervision
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • willingness to comply with company safety policies and transportation regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • must be 21 years of age or older
  • valid Class C driver’s license or appropriate license classification
  • prior work experience under general supervision
  • ability to communicate effectively across teams and customers
  • strategic and innovative thinker with problem-solving skills
  • ethical conduct and accountability

Job Duties

  • Timely transportation of product from origin to destination as assigned
  • assist in verification of all outgoing and incoming product for accuracy in terms of size, amount and type
  • collect payments from customers in monetary form acceptable to company
  • ensure all administrative paperwork concerning delivery orders accompanies shipments
  • maintain professional representation of the company in all interactions with customers and through responsible driving
  • maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations including driver’s logs and mileage records
  • abide by all company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations
  • occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklift pallet jacks and order pickers
