Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive a 20-24 foot box truck including a DOT Medical Card
- capable of lifting heavy products and operating pallet jacks or forklifts
- able to work four 10-hour shifts per week without weekend work
- willing to perform overnight routes twice every five weeks when needed
- possess a valid driver’s license
- comply with all DOT regulations
- have good communication and customer service skills
- physically able to perform job duties
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24 foot box truck, including a DOT Medical Card (CDL is not required)
- experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck preferred but not required
- understanding of how to use a GPS
- ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift
Job Duties
- Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24 foot box truck
- safe and timely delivery to customers with a high level of customer service
- following DOT rules and regulations
- conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle
- assisting with branch warehouse support
