Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- have a clean driving record
- hold an up to date DOT physical card
- pass pre-employment drug test with random tests after hire
- have a Chauffeur's License if in the state of Michigan
- able to lift up to 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year of box-truck driving experience
- able to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts
- strong communication skills
- ability to multitask and assist with counter duties
- basic computer skills for order processing
Job Duties
- Make local deliveries to contractors and job sites
- loading and unloading of product
- put stock away
- receive/check in products, report shortages, outages, damages
- pull & stage customer orders, surplus, branch transfers
- maintain safe, clean, and organized truck and warehouse
- maintain proper operation of material handling and equipment such as forklifts
- assist in loading trucks and pulling orders from counter requests
- process orders
- answer phones as needed
- assist or perform counter duties as needed
