Job Requirements
- Have agility to bend to floor-level shelves and reach upper shelves using a stool or ladder when necessary
- Stamina to stand and walk for entire work shift
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds of merchandise
- Able to handle cash and charge transactions correctly
- Maintain distribution logs or tracking for deliveries and pickups
- Inspect and maintain company assets, merchandise, vehicles, and premises
- Flexible schedule including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage inventory and maintain accurate delivery records
- Experience driving delivery vehicles in metropolitan areas
- Ability to follow safety protocols and vehicle maintenance guidelines
- Good communication skills including clear speaking and attentive listening
Job Duties
- Deliver parts to customers with a passion for developing relationships
- Pick up parts from multiple vendors and ensure stock room parts are accurately stocked and inventoried
- Maintain focus on safety while driving and delivering parts
- Serve as a NAPA brand ambassador during customer interactions
- Build long-term relationships with customers
- Maintain delivery truck by performing safety checklists and basic maintenance such as tire pressure checks
- Handle cash and charge transactions and manage core/part returns appropriately
