Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Minimum 2 years of safe driving experience
- Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs unassisted regularly
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification if required
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to pass physical including DOT Medical Card
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to pass motor vehicle record check
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Ability to perform furniture assembly and safe use of power tools
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- 1-3 years of successful experience in customer-facing roles
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with minimum 2 years of safe driving experience, preferred 5+ years
- CDL preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs unassisted regularly
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in using a hand truck, basic assembly, and safe operation of small power tools
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification if required
- Must successfully complete drug screen, physical including DOT Medical Card, background check, and motor vehicle record check
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, occasional overtime, and travel
Job Duties
- Deliver exceptional customer service and experience
- Act as the brand ambassador while on the road and during deliveries
- Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service while delivering high-quality products
- Bring solutions including furniture assembly or repairs and added value services
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge
- Drive large box trucks safely and courteously
- Maintain a timely delivery schedule and communicate with customers
- Inspect delivery vehicles pre and post-trip
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with Department of Transportation regulations
- Ensure safe and professional transport and delivery of products
- Follow safety procedures during loading, unloading, and transport
- Assemble furniture and prepare merchandise for delivery
- Review and verify invoices and purchase requests
- Maintain accurate inventory
- Remove packaging materials and debris
- Assist with showroom changes, tagging merchandise, and maintaining displays
- Greet clients and answer phones promptly and professionally
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
