Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have current authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge and meet local airport requirements
- May be required to obtain a Customs Seal for international flights
- Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 70 pounds regularly and repetitively move weights of 40 to 50 pounds onto raised surfaces
- Must be able to climb, bend, kneel and stand frequently and for extended periods
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per company standards
- Must comply with company attendance standards
- Ability to work shift work and overtime
- No current or future work authorization sponsorship available
- Residency in North Carolina or South Carolina required
- Candidates previously interviewed and not selected for this position within the past 12 months are not eligible
Job Qualifications

- Ability to type and use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed
- Ability to read, follow instructions, learn and understand ticketing procedures, rules and regulations
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team and under stressful situations
- Must satisfactorily complete Customer Service Agent training program with an 80% or greater average and evaluation period
- Must be aware of hazardous situations and handle emergencies
- Must work under tight time constraints and perform quick turns of aircraft
- Must present a well-groomed appearance per company standards
- Must be able to perform all job functions within a limited space
- Must effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate verbally or via radio equipment
Job Duties
- Provides friendly service to and maintains positive relationships with all internal and external customers
- Works in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of the company
- Responsible for providing legendary customer service to travelers using ticketing, cargo, and baggage services
- Handles ticketing and check-in by operating computer point-of-sale systems, boarding passengers, managing baggage service, reservations, and resolving related complaints
- Greets and assists customers politely and friendly, handles payments including cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers and coupons, computes charges, makes change, and balances daily transactions
- Checks in baggage and cargo, answers calls to provide information, resolve issues, page customers, and assist as needed
- Deals with mishandled customers due to oversells, delays, cancellations, lost or damaged luggage resolving problems within company guidelines
- Provides current and accurate information on fares, schedules, reservations, flight arrivals and departures, and general inquiries
- Completes forms and reports as required by the company
- Writes irregularity and complaint reports
- May perform other duties as directed by leaders
- Must be able to meet physical ability requirements such as lifting and moving weights, standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing as necessary
