Job Requirements
- Less than high school education
- One year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate various maintenance and custodial equipment
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to follow safety protocols and comply with institutional policies
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications

- One year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn institutional software
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform custodial and maintenance tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepares facilities for student, university, or public functions
- Moves and assembles furniture and equipment involving heavy lifting
- Notifies supervisor of repair needs and performs minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs
- Smoothes surfaces and prepares walls or furniture for painting
- Drives vehicle to transport crew and equipment and performs minor vehicle maintenance
- Outlines surfaces with paint such as parking lots and crosswalks
- Operates maintenance equipment including compressors and floor scrubbers
- Performs custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Washes windows, door panels, and sills using lifts when necessary
- Opens and closes campus buildings as scheduled
- Works flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Carries a two-way radio and remains on call as required
