Job Requirements

  • Ability to obtain an Arizona Department of Education Career and Technical Education (CTE) Certification in Family and Consumer Science
  • minimum of three years experience in the culinary field
  • possession of a Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain Arizona Department of Education Career and Technical Education (CTE) Certification in Family and Consumer Science
  • minimum of three years of experience in the culinary field
  • Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • passion for teaching and mentoring high school students

Job Duties

  • Guide high school students through hands-on culinary training
  • help students develop foundational skills for food service and hospitality careers
  • facilitate practical kitchen experiences alongside theoretical instruction
  • contribute to curriculum development
  • maintain a safe and efficient classroom environment
  • support students in obtaining industry certifications and college credits
  • assess and evaluate student progress regularly
