Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • current Colorado Emergency Medical Technician-Basic or A-EMT or EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic license
  • ability to perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • basic computer skills
  • ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • one year healthcare experience preferred
  • IV certification required upon hire

Job Duties

  • perform direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with an RN or physician
  • facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs
  • place orders and manage supplies for the department or unit
  • assist support staff with filing, medical records, and daily tasks
  • support patient emotional and physical care needs
  • maintain inventory and stock medical supplies
  • ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and procedures
