Job Requirements
- Less than high school education
- up to one month related experience or training
- ability to perform assigned duties safely
- capability to communicate clearly
- physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- willingness to participate in safety training
- legal authorization to work if under 18 and in Washington State
- valid driver’s license or state ID
- adherence to company policies including attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- reads and comprehends simple instructions and writes simple correspondence
- communicates effectively and pleasantly with guests, vendors and fellow associates
- mathematical skills using units of American money and weight measurement
- common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Washington State Minor Work authorization if working in Washington State and under 18 years old
- valid driver's license or state I.D. card
- completed Yoke's provided training including Active Shooter, Courtesy Skills, Food Handler's Safety, HIPAA, Late Night Retail Safety, and Guest Service training
Job Duties
- Reporting for assigned shifts on time and prepared to provide excellent service
- promoting sales through active discussions with guests and product recommendations
- acknowledging and assisting each guest by packing purchases and answering inquiries
- performing routine store maintenance and cleaning
- bagging grocery orders and carrying them to customer vehicles
- restocking bags and check stand supplies
- retrieving shopping carts and returning unsold products to shelves or disposing of unsalable items
- mentoring new associates and maintaining a positive learning environment
- understanding and using "This One's On Us" cards to enhance guest satisfaction
- participating in the store's accident reduction plan including safety awareness and protocols
