Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must hold a valid license for the type of vehicle assigned
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must meet Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations section 391 qualifications
- Must pass a medical exam according to FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Must have the ability to work safely and maintain alertness
- Must be able to read, understand, and communicate in English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials
Job Duties
- Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Perform related customer service functions
- Maneuver packages weighing over 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
- Maintain neat appearance and good human relations
- Operate company vehicles in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Undergo medical exams as required by FMCSA or FAA regulations
